Job Title: Senior Process Engineer

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to support an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Process Engineer with a strong background in mechanical systems and equipment design to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting construction document reviews, planning and coordinating process/mechanical engineering projects, and preparing and reviewing calculations and specifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct construction document reviews as required.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate process/mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects.
  • Prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to P&ID development.
  • Demonstrate design experience in areas such as mechanical systems and equipment design.
  • Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with computer-aided drafting applications is required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of ten (10) years' experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.
  • Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
