Charter Senior Living Pastry Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist with all aspects of our bakery operations. As a Pastry Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring that all products meet our high standards.

• Bake donuts and other pastries to order.
• Prepare frozen food for the oven and maintain temperature controls.
• Inspect equipment regularly to ensure proper function and perform preventative maintenance as needed.
• Assist in finishing and filling baked goods, pies, and cakes.
• Cooperate with other departments to support inter-departmental promotions and events.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2-4 years of related experience.
• The ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and communicate effectively with customers and employees.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages.
• REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $42,000-$55,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
