Crossing Guard

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Crossing Guard. As a Crossing Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe passage of pedestrians at designated school crossings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor traffic and pedestrian activity at designated school crossings
• Direct pedestrians to safely cross the street
• Ensure pedestrians follow traffic rules and regulations
• Work collaboratively with other Crossing Guards to maintain a safe and efficient crossing environment

Requirements:

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• CPR/First Aid training preferred
• Ability to see and hear well enough to safely direct traffic in intersections

What We Offer:

• Competitive hourly rate of $12.50
• Opportunity to work up to 20 hours per week during the current school year
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate morning and afternoon shifts
