Position Overview
Responsible for executing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and installation duties on the facility, machinery, and equipment, adhering to established standards. This role necessitates the demonstration of proficiency in all on-the-job tasks that may directly or indirectly impact product safety, legality, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out assigned preventive maintenance activities.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance on facility machinery and equipment.
- Address and resolve equipment malfunctions and mechanical failures. Troubleshoot as needed. Repair or replace worn or defective components, motors, control devices, etc.
- Operate machine shop tools and fabricate necessary parts when required.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work environment.
- Adhere to all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
- Fulfill other duties deemed essential by management, including compliance with work schedules, attendance policies, and other relevant operational rules, policies, and procedures.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
A minimum of one year of experience as a Production Operator or Technician, along with formal training or experience. Background in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning; Welding, Electronics, Electrical repairs, and Industrial Equipment installations, alignment, and start-up repairs is advantageous.
Educational Requirements
An Associate Degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology or equivalent formal training and work experience is preferred.
