Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified Superintendent with a robust background in commercial construction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and possess extensive knowledge in various trades, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work. This role is pivotal in managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all construction site operations, ensuring safety, timeliness, and budget compliance.
  • Supervise teams across various trades including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical.
  • Prepare and present budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking documentation.
  • Develop and enforce quality control measures.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical documents to prepare accurate estimates for time, cost, materials, and labor.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Schedule and coordinate tasks to meet tight deadlines and budgetary constraints.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, construction professionals, and stakeholders.
  • Implement cost control strategies to enhance project profitability.
  • Manage project activities to fulfill objectives, including procurement, scheduling, productivity, quality, and safety.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent in the commercial construction field.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising teams and managing construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction cost control and basic accounting principles.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.
  • Excellent project scheduling and budgeting skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and project management abilities.
  • Solid grasp of safety management principles.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with construction management software.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
