Position SummaryThe Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Advanced Practice Provider (APP) collaborates with intensivists to coordinate patient care for high-risk cardiovascular patients at Children's Minnesota. This role requires a high level of expertise and evaluative skills to manage critically ill children's care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe, accessible, and responsive care to patients
- Collaborate with CV surgeons, cardiologists, and intensivists to manage patient care
- Practice as part of the CV model of care, a team-based approach
- Report to the attending CV intensivist during work hours
- Provide on-site coverage 24/7/365
