Salary:
$18.50 an hour


ASM Global, a leader in the management of public assembly venues, is currently seeking a Concession Stand Cashier at the Aquarium of The Pacific.

This role is essential for ensuring precise financial transactions and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain accurate records of all cash and inventory at the designated concession area.

2. Execute assigned tasks efficiently.

3. Stand for extended periods as required.

4. Ensure a safe and sanitary environment for all staff members.

5. Anticipate daily sales patterns based on forecasts.

6. Prepare for peak sales hours and communicate change needs to the Food & Beverage Manager.


7. Organize all necessary documentation including cashiers' physical inventory sheets, meal reports, and spoilage logs.

8. Verify that item prices align with the menu.

9. Restock products upon delivery.

10. Oversee the accurate recording of employee meals and vouchers, if applicable.

11. Adhere to cash handling protocols consistently.

12. Comply with all Food and Beverage regulations.

13. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

14. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

15. Follow policies related to transfers, requisitions, cash handling, and purchasing.

Must possess a CA Food Handler Card and RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certificate.

Education and Experience:

Basic knowledge of cash registers and cash handling procedures is required. Proficiency in basic mathematics for accurate money handling is essential. Familiarity with concession or cafeteria operations is beneficial. Candidates should be able to follow instructions and perform tasks effectively. A friendly demeanor and professional appearance are important. Effective communication with customers, supervisors, and colleagues is crucial.

Additional Requirements:
Flexibility to work various hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in addition to regular business hours is necessary.
