As a Medical Specialist at DaVita, you will be working in a hospital setting where you will be responsible for delivering dialysis to patients at a contracted healthcare system.

About the Role:

In this role, you will work daily in a hospital setting, providing lifesaving care during regularly scheduled and on-call shifts. Schedules vary by hospital system, but you can expect to know your weekly schedule in advance. However, your daily schedule may change depending on patient needs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver care to patients who are often dealing with multiple co-morbidities that require unique treatment plans and leverage a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge.
  • Oversee a group of patients with the support of PCTs to conduct patient observations, measuring stats, and machine setup.
  • Work with your head, heart, and hands each day in a fast-paced environment.
  • Schedule: Provide lifesaving care during regularly scheduled and on-call shifts. Schedules vary by hospital system.

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for delivering compassionate care in a hospital setting. As a Medical Specialist at DaVita, you will be part of a team that supports and relies on each other in a positive environment. Staff RNs are a central part of a small interdisciplinary team of clinicians.

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice;
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree;
  • No Dialysis experience is required.

The estimated salary for this role is $ $90,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
