CNC Machinist

At Anchor Packaging LLC, we're seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist - Tooling Specialist to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to utilize their expertise in setting up and operating high-speed CNC machines to manufacture production tooling.

Main Responsibilities:

• Utilize advanced shop math skills, including geometry and trigonometry, to optimize cutting tool performance.
• Edit CNC programs to produce high-quality tooling components, sample molds, and production molds.
• Perform manual machining techniques to achieve precise results.
• Maintain accurate records of machining operations and document any issues that arise.
• Collaborate with programmers to troubleshoot and resolve machining-related problems.
• Contribute to the development of CNC operation standards to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.
• Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of CNC equipment to prevent downtime.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in CNC machining, including setup and operation of high-speed CNC machines.
• Excellent shop math skills, including geometry and trigonometry.
• Familiarity with various cutting tools and their applications.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
