Job Description
The Sales Data Specialist plays a vital role in optimizing our organization's product data, pricing strategies, and SKU performance. As a key member of the Sales team, you will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data accuracy and communicate crucial discrepancies to appropriate team members. Your expertise in Microsoft Excel will enable you to aggregate data from multiple platforms, creating insightful sales reports that directly impact the company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to MAP policies by ensuring pricing and product data are regularly updated and reviewed for accuracy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on product data, pricing strategies, and SKU optimization, performance, and lifecycle.
  • Partner with the team to enhance customer relationships and support departmental goals, including revenue targets, assortment optimization, and promotional performance.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with support from sales leadership teams, ensuring accurate assortment management, analysis, and SKU performance.
  • Oversee and maintain the department SharePoint; keeping all information accessible and up-to-date.
  • Monitor the MySamm software and communicate updates and changes with Account Executives and clients as needed.
  • Gather and aggregate data from multiple platforms, including MySamm, PowerBI, customer scorecards, and other promotional trackers.
  • Assist in creating and preparing ad-hoc sales reports as needed.
