Qualifications & Requirements:
Graduate from a recognized Nursing School.
Current and valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Holds an active CPR certification.
Maintains awareness of specific state regulations and laws related to nursing practice.
Successful completion of initial and ongoing clinical competencies as required by the role.

A background investigation, security clearance, and drug screening are prerequisites for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) with YesCare, your responsibilities will include:

Responding to and initiating care for medical emergencies throughout the facility, including the ability to perform continuous CPR until relieved.
Administering and documenting medications accurately on the Medication Administration Record, and recording all nursing care provided.
Conducting histories and physical assessments on patients. Evaluating patient health status and referring to the appropriate healthcare provider level. Assisting Physicians in patient examinations and treatments. Implementing and following up on verbal and written orders from Physicians/Dentists.
Educating patients and correctional staff on healthcare information.
Collecting samples, specimens, and cultures as per Physician orders.
Adhering to safety and security protocols and participating in disaster drills. Following security regulations for keys, sharps, and controlled substances. Complying with Universal Precautions and other relevant infection control practices.
Performing venipuncture and IV therapy.
Following standard precautions using personal protective equipment as necessary.
Other duties as assigned by management.
