Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and proficient Speech-Language Pathologist to become a vital part of our educational staff in Chula Vista, CA.

The successful candidate will engage with students of diverse age ranges, delivering exceptional services to individuals facing communication and swallowing difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and address speech, language, voice, and swallowing challenges within an educational setting.
  • Develop and implement tailored educational plans for students with specific speech and language needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to promote student success.
  • Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify students requiring SLP support.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, documentation, and participate in IEP meetings.
  • Provide advice and training to students and families regarding speech and language development.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid California SLP license.
  • CCC-SLP certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school-based setting.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
