Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Physical Therapy Assistant to work with our team in Portland. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our physical therapists in their daily tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physical therapists in conducting patient evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions.
  • Provide direct patient care, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions as prescribed by the physical therapist.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition to home or community-based care.
Requirements
  • Active PTA license in California.
  • 1 or more years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
