We are on the lookout for a Structural Engineer at the Associate level to enhance our Restoration & Renewal Practice in the New York Metro area. This position focuses on structural evaluation and design for renovations, adaptive reuse, and restoration of existing buildings.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough structural evaluations and design for diverse structural frameworks
- Collaborate on design initiatives with internal teams and external partners
- Engage with clients to ascertain project specifications
- Oversee and guide junior design team members
- Develop Contract Documents, including detailed drawings and specifications
- Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Civil Engineering with a specialization in structural engineering
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering
- Possession of a PE and/or SE License is mandatory
- Proven experience in modifications and repairs of existing structures
- Capability to manage project budgets and travel to various job sites within the NY Metropolitan area
