We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Night Awake Residential Counselor to join our team at Mount Prospect Academy. As a key member of our residential program, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our youth during their sleeping hours.
About Us:
Mount Prospect Academy is a leading provider of education and support services for students aged 11 to 21. Our mission is to create a nurturing environment where each individual can thrive academically, emotionally, and creatively. We are committed to addressing the unique needs of our students and providing a comprehensive support system to help them reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive supervision and support to youth during their sleeping hours.
- Model appropriate behavior and guide students in navigating challenges.
- Respond to crisis situations with professionalism and compassion.
- Collaborate closely with team members to maintain a safe and supportive environment for our youth.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and a minimum age of 21.
- Successful completion of background and pre-employment checks.
- Preferred previous experience working with at-risk adolescents.
