Position Overview:

As the F-16 Build Team's Production Avionics Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role within the Lockheed Martin Greenville Team. This position focuses on the assembly and testing of aircraft harnessing for the central section of the aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

The Production Supervisor will oversee the progress of work documentation and the tasks completed in their designated area.

This role serves as a liaison between the aircraft assembly personnel and production management, while also supporting fellow technicians with daily operations.

The Production Supervisor will actively engage in hands-on work, maintaining the necessary certifications and qualifications to execute production tasks as needed, along with other related responsibilities:

  • Manage tool inventory by opening and closing toolboxes, ensuring accurate records are kept, and fulfilling any additional assignments from management.
  • Verify that team members properly store tools, components, and supplies at the end of their shifts.
  • Assist management in maintaining product standards, cleanliness, hazardous material accountability, and compliance with lean manufacturing principles.
  • Provide training to assigned technicians on all facets of aircraft component assembly.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in aircraft manufacturing, maintenance, modification, repair, and overhaul.
  • Experience in leading teams focused on aircraft harness routing and the bonding of electrical components.
Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with F-16 harness routing is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead a team in meeting critical deadlines and resolving technical challenges.
  • Capability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, applying their intent effectively.
  • Understanding of aircraft work instructions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in aircraft harness routing and bonding of electrical components.
  • Advocate for Foreign Object Debris (FOD) control measures.
Security Clearance Requirement: This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. Citizens to be considered.

Work Schedule: Lockheed Martin supports various alternative work schedules that offer additional flexibility to employees. Schedules may range from a standard 40-hour work week to condensed options, providing employees with extra time away from the office, in addition to paid time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour days, with three days off each week.
