Civil Engineer Water Quality Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with expertise in water quality to join our team at Jobot. As a Civil Engineer Water Quality, you will be responsible for designing and implementing water quality management systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop water quality management systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects
  • Conduct feasibility studies and prepare concept drawings for water quality projects
  • Collaborate with AutoCAD drafters to create detailed designs and specifications
  • Prepare pipe sizing calculations, drainage area maps, and surface runoff coefficients
  • Design and implement stormwater management systems, including stormwater conveyance and detention
  • Develop grading designs and utility systems, including stormwater conveyance, sanitary sewer service, water, gas, and telephone service

Requirements:

  • 3-10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on water quality
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Hydrology software
  • Knowledge of planning and zoning regulations
  • Commercial, single, and multifamily residential site design and permitting experience
