As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for building scalable accounting processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and maintaining strong internal controls. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the accounting department, driving efficiency and effectiveness in financial reporting and internal controls.
  • Develop and implement best-in-class accounting processes, leveraging technology to drive scalability and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial literacy and accountability throughout the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and maintain strong internal controls.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the board and audit committee.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in controllership roles in publicly traded life sciences companies.
  • Extensive experience in implementing and managing global legal entity structures in NetSuite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
