Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse with Competitive Pay and Mileage Reimbursement

Are you a compassionate and adaptable healthcare professional seeking a new challenge? The Good Samaritan Society is currently looking for a licensed practical nurse to join our team as a Travel LPN. This opportunity allows an LPN to travel locally by working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from home, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting
- Provide care that meets the physical and psychosocial needs of residents as per care plan
- Evaluate data reflective of the resident's status and provide the care needed
- Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively to assist in an emergent situation
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team, and possess strong problem-solving abilities. As a Travel LPN, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience, develop your skills, and contribute to the well-being of our residents.
About the JobThis is a PRN position with varying shifts and hours. You will be required to work at least 24 hours per month and participate in one weekend rotation per month. A minimum of 3 months' experience in Long Term Care is required, with 6 months preferred. Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $24.00 - $36.00 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to a generous compensation package, we also provide benefits such as health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, work/life balance benefits, and a generous time off package.
