Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Soliant. As an SLP, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students, utilizing your expertise and knowledge to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and Implement Individualized Treatment Plans: Create and implement tailored treatment plans for students with diverse communication needs, taking into account their unique strengths and challenges.
  • Provide SLP Services: Deliver high-quality SLP services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring that each student receives the support they need to succeed.
  • Collaborate with School Staff: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication skills, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports, ensuring that all necessary information is readily available.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and school staff.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Communication and Sciences Disorders or Speech and Language Pathology: Hold a Master's degree in Communication and Sciences Disorders or Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Active North Carolina SLP License: Possess an active North Carolina SLP license, ensuring that you are qualified to practice as an SLP in the state.
  • ASHA Certification (Preferred): While ASHA certification is not required, it is highly preferred, demonstrating your commitment to ongoing professional development and excellence in the field.
