Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Winter Ski Patrol Representative to join our team at the National Winter Activity Center Inc. in $55,000 - $75,000 per year. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in ski patrolling, first aid, and emergency response.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and promoting the safety of participants, providing first-aid assistance, and transporting injured participants. You will also be required to inspect and maintain ski patrol equipment and supplies, perform chairlift evacuations if necessary, and work together with other staff/departments as needed.

Core Responsibilities
  • Lift safety checks: report any problems identified
  • Check slopes for hazards and mark as appropriate
  • Setup and breakdown additional netting required each operational day
  • Monitor trail conditions
  • Respond to possible accidents
  • Provide emergency medical care
  • Transport patients; including from most difficult terrain
  • Handle incidents through transfer to EMS
  • Keep records and assist in accident investigation
