As a Clinical Nurse II at MEDSTAR HEALTH, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our Medical-Surgical Unit. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care of patients from admission through discharge.
- Collaborate with patients and families to provide theory-based professional nursing care and coordinate care delivery with various members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address any identified deficits or concerns.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote healthy behaviors and self-care practices.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Medical-Surgical setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions.
