Key Responsibilities- Provide direct resident care while promoting resident dignity, independence, and choice.
- Assist with or perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), take vital signs, and accurately document care services provided and observations.
- Assist residents to and from dining room and activities.
- Perform First Aid and initiate emergency response procedures as required.
- Greet residents, visitors, and staff courteously and answer phones when assigned.
- Follow and support community fire safety and infection control practices.
- Serve meals in the dining room, assist residents at meal time, and provide resident tray delivery.
- Assist with tours, move-ins, move-outs, and transfers, and coordinate personal care service with co-workers.
- Assist with apartment housekeeping services and resident's laundry.
- Attend and participate in training, in-services, and staff meetings.
- High school diploma or GED with one or more years of personal care experience with older adults preferred.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Food Handlers permit if required by State.
