Job Summary

Prestige Care Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Attendant to join our team at Prestige Senior Living - Orchard Heights. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing direct resident care, promoting resident dignity, independence, and choice, and upholding our core values of respect, integrity, commitment, and trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct resident care while promoting resident dignity, independence, and choice.
  • Assist with or perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), take vital signs, and accurately document care services provided and observations.
  • Assist residents to and from dining room and activities.
  • Perform First Aid and initiate emergency response procedures as required.
  • Greet residents, visitors, and staff courteously and answer phones when assigned.
  • Follow and support community fire safety and infection control practices.
  • Serve meals in the dining room, assist residents at meal time, and provide resident tray delivery.
  • Assist with tours, move-ins, move-outs, and transfers, and coordinate personal care service with co-workers.
  • Assist with apartment housekeeping services and resident's laundry.
  • Attend and participate in training, in-services, and staff meetings.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED with one or more years of personal care experience with older adults preferred.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Food Handlers permit if required by State.
