Job Summary

WeDriveU is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues, ensuring our fleet is safe and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in vehicle systems, including electrical, cooling, and braking systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Conduct road calls and on-the-road repairs as assigned.
  • Collaborate with lead technicians to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
  • Record time spent, parts used, and repairs conducted on appropriate forms.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two to four years of experience in heavy truck fleet repair.
  • Diagnostic, electrical, and AC skills are essential.
  • Technical knowledge of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment is required.
  • Previous fleet experience and familiarity with diesel and gasoline systems are necessary.
  • Possess the recommended minimum hand tools for a diesel technician.
  • Ability to use good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Valid applicable state license (CDL preferred).
  • ASE certification is desirable but not required.
