Salary Range: $142,100 - $162,100 per annum

Job Overview:

We're looking for an exceptional Senior Platform Engineer to drive major transformations within Capital One. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios. Your primary responsibilities will include continuously improving software engineering practices, working within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with product owners to comprehend desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
  • Continuously improve software engineering practices
  • Design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies
  • Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions
  • Stay on top of tech trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community
  • Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity
  • Utilize scripting languages like Powershell, Apple Script, Python, and Javascript to automate testing workflows

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 3 years of experience in automation testing on Mac OS or Windows Native Apps

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Mac OS and Windows operating systems
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
  • 1+ years of experience with automation testing using Appium
