About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Truck Driver to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering food products to customers in a timely and accurate manner.

With a focus on customer satisfaction, you will unload products from our trucks and place them in the customer storage area. You must be able to perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds and make frequent stops during a work shift.

This role requires flexibility and the ability to handle varying routes and schedules. You will also be expected to verify delivery of items with customers and collect money where necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver food products to customers in a timely and accurate manner
  • Unload products from trucks and place them in customer storage areas
  • Perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds
  • Make frequent stops during a work shift
  • Verify delivery of items with customers
  • Collect money where necessary
Requirements
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Valid U.S. driver's license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required
  • No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver's license suspensions in the past three years
  • Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry required
  • Must be able to pass DOT physical
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $29.41-$32.68 per hour, as well as excellent benefits including health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.

The estimated base rate for this role is between $58,824 and $67,558 per year.
