Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dermatopathologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic team, you will be responsible for examining skin tissue samples and diagnosing skin diseases and conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Examination and Interpretation: Conduct thorough examinations of skin tissue samples and interpret results to diagnose skin diseases and conditions.
- Communication: Effectively communicate findings to other medical professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
- Treatment Planning: Collaborate with other medical professionals to develop treatment plans for patients.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient diagnoses and treatments.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with advancements in dermatopathology research and technology.
Requirements
- Medical Degree: Possess a medical degree (MD or DO) and be board certified in dermatopathology.
- Residency and Fellowship: Have completed residency training in dermatology and fellowship training in dermatopathology.
- State Medical License: Hold a valid state medical license to practice medicine.
- Technical Skills: Possess strong understanding of clinical dermatology and pathological techniques, as well as proficiency in analyzing and interpreting microscopic tissue samples.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals and possess strong interpersonal skills for building strong relationships with colleagues and patients.
