Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at SSM Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide respiratory care services and prescribed medical equipment/supplies to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop a plan of care based on diagnosis.
  • Provide respiratory care services in accordance with physician orders, department policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate care plans for respiratory patients, evaluating progress and communicating with other healthcare providers as needed.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • Evaluate respiratory practice and treatment based on patient outcomes.
  • Participate in maintaining departmental inventory levels for supplies and equipment.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • No experience required.
