Cafeteria Attendant

Pride Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled Cafeteria Attendant to join our team. As a Cafeteria Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe dining environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate food service equipment, such as dishwashers and clippers, to sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Unload silverware and stack dinnerware in designated containers.
• Place clean pots and pans in specific kitchen areas.
• Provide dining room services, including wiping down and sanitizing surfaces.
• Stock food service areas with necessary supplies.
• Bussing services, including removing dirty dishes and loading them into bins.
• Clean spills and broken dishes promptly.
• Replenish dining items, such as napkins and condiments.
• Sweep and mop floors after spills and between meals.
• Vacuum floors between meals.
• Clean and sanitize cooking grills and deep fat fryers.
• Remove trash and recyclables, and replace trash liners.
• Clean bathrooms, including spot checks and thorough cleaning.

Requirements:

• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with management and customers.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including mornings, days, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to work with electrical and mechanical equipment, sharp utensils, and hot steam and water.
• Customer service skills, including greeting patrons and providing professional responses to questions.

Working Environment:

The Cafeteria Attendant will work primarily indoors in a cafeteria setting with exposure to background noise from equipment, customers, and other staff members.
