About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Froster to join our team at Nothing Bundt Cakes. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for putting the finishing touches on our delicious cakes and making every moment extra special for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Frost cakes with precision and attention to detail, following our proprietary recipe and application methods.
  • Utilize measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers, and pastry bags to achieve high-quality results.
  • Prioritize cake pre-orders and frost cakes for walk-in guest orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes are available for guests in the bakery display case.
  • Adhere to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of frosted cakes, as well as product rotation standards.
  • Monitor inventory of frosting supplies and notify management when replenishment is required.
  • Evaluate baked and frosted cakes to ensure they meet our high standards and inform management of any quality control issues.
  • Clean, sanitize, and restock workstations, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Comply with all health and safety guidelines and company policies, including dress code and personal hygiene standards.
Requirements
  • Ability to understand written and oral directions, interpret instructional documents, and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.
  • Basic understanding of units of measurement used in the U.S.
  • Ability to perform repetitious tasks that require precise and continuous movement of arms, wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Physical capacity to lift items of moderate to heavy weight (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work on a tight, fast-paced production schedule.
  • Ability to evaluate products, processes, and surroundings to determine compliance with standards.
  • Discipline and attention to detail to adhere to health and safety practices and work environment standards.
  • Diligence, organization, and self-motivation, with the ability to prioritize workload and operate independently with minimal supervision.
