Job Summary

The Panel Maker/Casket Insert Assembly Team Member works to create and assemble insert components for caskets, ensuring a high-quality product. This position reports directly to the Inserts Team Lead and VFP Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain safe practices in the workplace.
• Follow standard operating procedures and advise leadership on any necessary improvements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Craft head panels and fabric-covered rolls, then install them in caskets according to production needs.
• Install additional components of the interior into caskets on the assembly line and coordinate with other team members as needed.
• Complete daily production paperwork with accuracy and consistency.
• Identify and report any variances or issues with products that deviate from established quality standards.
• Suggest methods to reduce production costs, improve on-time delivery, and enhance work processes.
• Assist with physical inventory audits as requested.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Exhibit regular and predictable attendance.
