About the Job: We are seeking a Footwear Specialist - Customer Service to join our team at Rack Room Shoes. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for creating an excellent shopping experience for our customers and driving sales growth through effective selling techniques and product knowledge.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process all sales and POS terminal transactions in accordance with policy and procedure.
- Assist customers in finding the perfect shoes and provide expert advice on shoe care and maintenance.
- Participate in physical inventories, assist in shipping and receiving merchandise, and participate in merchandise placement on the sales floor when needed.
Working Relationships: You will be working closely with Customers, Sales Associates, Store Management, and District/Regional Managers.
Key Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, basic math skills, and experience in retail sales, preferably specialty retail or footwear.
