Job Overview

ConglomerateIT LLC is seeking a highly skilled Credentialing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare recruitment team, you will be responsible for managing the credentialing activities of medical and allied health staff, ensuring compliance with hospital bylaws, credentialing policies, and federal/state laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage credentialing activities, including verifying professional liability coverage, medical licensure, board certification, DEA certifications, and other required credentials.
  • Provide administrative support to medical staff committees, preparing for meetings, taking minutes, distributing correspondence, and assisting in policy development.
  • Handle requests for temporary, additional, or one-time privileges, ensuring follow-up actions align with hospital policies.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with accrediting bodies, such as Joint Commission and NCQA, and support accreditation preparation efforts.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all credentialing and medical staff information while managing the credentialing database and monitoring expirable documents.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 05 years of experience from a hospital/health system credentialing physicians and/or advanced practice staff.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required), or, Associates Degree or equivalent.
  • CPCS or CPMSM certification.
