We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Marine Claims Adjuster to join our team at Allianz Commercial. As a Sr Marine Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for handling Marine Claims, with end-to-end responsibility.
The Impact You Will HaveThe Sr Marine Claims Adjuster will proactively investigate, evaluate and negotiate resolution of assigned Marine claims in accordance with established best practices and assure claims are handled within granted autonomy limits.
Key Responsibilities- Input and maintain accurate claims records for designated accounts, within appropriate AzC Claims administration systems.
- Proactively identify loss trends and investigate standard claims, including coverage determination and evaluation of loss exposures.
- Referral and compliance, ensuring all claims are handled with authority limits, and in line with AzC claims standards, procedures and guidelines.
- Proactively drive involvement of functional areas in Claims handling process (e.g., underwriting, MMC, ARC, operations).
- Effectively report and present loss and claims information internally and externally.
We are looking for a candidate with 3-5 years' experience of proven track record in handling marine claims involving noncomplex coverage and damage issues. Additionally, you should have a detailed understanding of claims handling process and experience in demonstrating established relationships with brokers at peer level group and well established in local market.
The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of coinsurance and reinsurance and application, as well as knowledge of claims handling process from notification to settlement and recovery. You should also have an understanding of relevant legal processes and procedures, litigation management, litigation avoidance techniques.
