Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Memory Care Leader to join our team at Aspen Place Health Campus. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and education to our residents with dementia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Operations: Coordinate the day-to-day functions of the Legacy Lane, ensuring that all programs and activities are delivered in accordance with company standards and regulations.
  • Program Development and Implementation: Develop and maintain the Best Friends Forever (BFF) Program, ensuring that it meets the needs of our residents and their families.
  • Activity Programming: Ensure that Daily Rhythms activity programming is delivered in a way that promotes engagement and enjoyment for our residents.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open communication with the Executive Director, department leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the Legacy Lane are running smoothly.
  • Staff Support and Development: Provide guidance and support to staff members, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality care to our residents.
  • Family Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with resident family members, ensuring that they are informed and involved in their loved one's care.
  • Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to ensure that our services meet the highest standards of quality and care.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; at least one year's experience in dementia care preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) certification preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
