About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist at Autism Matters, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. This rewarding role involves providing exceptional therapy services, conducting comprehensive evaluations, and creating personalized treatment plans to help clients achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to children with ASD, including conducting evaluations, creating treatment plans, and documenting progress.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Develop and implement innovative generalization plans to help clients apply their skills across various settings.
  • Participate in client-focused meetings and contribute to the development of effective treatment plans.
  • Document progress effectively, prepare engaging therapy materials, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health.
  • Certified Occupational Therapist by NBCOT.
  • Experience working with children, preferably those with Autism.
  • 1-2 years' experience as an occupational therapist in pediatrics or field experience in a pediatric setting preferred.
