Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will provide essential care to patients under the guidance of attending physicians and the Executive Director. Your role will focus on:

  • Collaborating with physicians to evaluate patient needs and assisting in the development of nursing services.
  • Initiating referrals and responding to inquiries from patients and healthcare staff.
  • Conducting thorough examinations to identify early signs of health issues.
  • Determining the necessity for physician referrals for further evaluation.
  • Managing administrative tasks related to patient care, including documentation and reporting.
  • Assisting in the scheduling of patient assessments and treatment planning.

Position Details:
This is a full-time role requiring 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications
  • Current, active LVN license in the state of California.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and facility guidelines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Understanding of crisis management and therapeutic interventions.
  • Familiarity with addiction treatment and dual diagnosis.
