Job Title: Principal Radar Receiver

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Radar Receiver to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our Receiver, Exciter, and Back-End Processing (REBEP) Department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and supporting the production builds and lifecycle support of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solve complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions in Radar and Receiver Exciter design, analysis, integration, and test.
  • Liaison between Radar system components and resolve system level issues that may stem from software or hardware anomalies.
  • Support system and subsystem level radar integration planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Analyze Radar and Receiver data to identify and resolve system performance issues.
  • Develop calibration solutions for receiver/exciters to meet top level radar performance specifications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 8 years' of prior work experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' of prior work experience.
  • Experience with RF and/or Radar systems.
  • 3+ years' of experience in two or more of the following areas: System or subsystem Integration, Verification, and Validation; Radar and/or receiver systems design and integration; Programming in MATLAB, C/C++; RF Circuit design and analysis; In-phase and quadrature (I&Q data) processing and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science in Electrical/RF Engineering.
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external customers and finding technical solutions to complex requirements.
  • Experience with root cause identification, corrective action implementation, and associated documentation.
  • Experience with Digital Signal Processing techniques and FPGA implementation.
