Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and evaluate direct resident care, initiating corrective action as necessary.
  • Provide clinical supervision to nursing assistants and Licensed Practical Nurses.
  • Follow staffing guidelines and make nursing assignments based on staff qualifications and resident needs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations within the assigned unit.
  • Administer and document medications, enteral nutrition, and treatments per physician's order.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited RN school of Nursing.
  • Current license in Massachusetts as RN.
  • Knowledge of Geriatric Nursing required.
  • Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support.
