We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at United Safety & Survivability Corporation. As a Material Handler, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse and material management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials and supplies.
- Order Fulfillment: Locate and pull materials and supplies as required to meet production needs, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient flow of materials and supplies throughout the production process.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality control initiatives, including cycle counts and physical inventory, to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to achieve production goals, maintain a safe work environment, and promote a culture of quality and innovation.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or trade school training preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field, with a strong background in inventory management and supply chain coordination.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, proficiency in computer systems, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; must be able to drive a fork truck and stand for extended periods.
- Personal Qualities: Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
