Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Telemetry Unit at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans for patients with a variety of diagnoses, including cardiac, endocrinology, renal, and pulmonary conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • More than 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
  • Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider AHA.
  • RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
  • Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills.
