Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a part-time school-based setting. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and evaluations to determine students' communication needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs and develop targeted treatment plans.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders, including articulation, language, and fluency disorders.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure consistent support and communication with students, parents, and staff.
  • Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid license or eligibility for licensure in the state where the position is located.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a school-based setting is preferred.
