Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced veterinary technician to join our team. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining excellent patient care and operational productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with patient care, including administering anesthesia, taking x-rays, and gathering lab specimens.
  • Obtain and test samples, and help interpret results.
  • Administer medications and vaccines as prescribed by the veterinarian.
  • Communicate with clients to obtain medical information and provide instructions on animal care.
  • Work collaboratively with the client service specialist team.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • At least 1 year of veterinary industry experience.
  • Ability to restrain animals safely and properly.
  • Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and medication.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
