The Role

Genai Works is seeking accomplished Research Scientists with a proven track record in tackling complex problems using deep learning methodologies. In this position, you will leverage your expertise to drive breakthroughs that will shape the future of voice-enabled applications. Your responsibilities will include utilizing extensive audio and text datasets to develop foundational models that not only transcribe speech but also understand context, adapt to varied speech patterns, and generate empathetic, human-like responses. Collaboration with product and engineering teams will be essential to ensure the deployment of these models within our scalable voice API.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement experimental frameworks to create innovative speech and language AI models that address critical customer needs.
  • Manage large-scale training operations on extensive distributed computing systems.
  • Enhance model architectures for optimal speed and memory efficiency; facilitate the production deployment of new models at scale.
  • Clearly document and communicate results and intricate technical concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in deep learning, focusing on their relevance and application to our products.

  • A strong background in developing models from inception, encompassing data management, architecture design, large-scale training, and optimization for inference.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Robust software engineering abilities, particularly in crafting clean, modular code using Python and Pytorch.

It Would Be Great if You Had

  • Previous industry experience in constructing deep learning models to address intricate challenges, with a solid grasp of various neural network types and architectures.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with state-of-the-art network architectures, including transformers.
  • Familiarity with different parallelism strategies for efficient distributed training.
