Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Lead Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team at Next Move Healthcare.

Estimated Salary: $68,900 - $105,500 per year

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Top-Tier Patient Care: Deliver high-quality respiratory care services in acute inpatient settings, ensuring patients receive the best possible treatment.
  • Evaluate and Assess Patient Needs: Conduct thorough clinical assessments and utilize diagnostic tools to develop individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Administer Treatments and Procedures: Effectively administer aerosol medications, pulmonary hygiene, mechanical ventilation, and emergency support as needed, while maintaining accurate documentation of treatments and patient responses in medical records.
  • Maintain Equipment and Ensure Quality Care: Regularly calibrate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment, troubleshooting issues promptly to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and enhance departmental knowledge through mentorship and education.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Completion of a respiratory therapy educational program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) or equivalent, along with active state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Certifications: BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
  • Patient Safety and Quality Focus: Demonstrated ability to perform in high-stress situations and a commitment to delivering safe and quality care.
