About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Manager to join our Estate and Trust Tax team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading complex tax engagements, supervising staff, and building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead tax engagements for high net worth clients, including gift, estate, and fiduciary income tax returns
  • Supervise and mentor staff to ensure high-quality work and professional development
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies for clients
  • Research and consult on complex tax matters, including trustee and beneficiary issues
  • Identify and implement tax planning opportunities for clients
  • Manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet client deadlines
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required
  • CPA, JD, LLM, or a Masters of Science in Taxation (MST) required
  • At least 8 years of prior experience working in the tax department of a public accounting firm
  • Excellent analytical and technical tax skills
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a fast-paced team environment
