Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Server Administrator to join our team at American Savings Bank. As a Server Administrator, you will be responsible for providing server and administration support for daily operations, ensuring system stability, and collaborating with teammates and software vendors on project efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide server and administration support for daily operations, including installing, patching, configuring, customizing, troubleshooting, upgrading, integrating, and maintaining systems, software, port configuration, host-based firewalls, and peripherals.
  • Manage configuration changes, perform system tuning, and analyze and resolve system problems.
  • Ensure that the correct processes are followed in change management for tracking.
  • Provide reports and capacity data to support metrics for hardware warranty, software licensing, and asset management systems.
  • Meet customer needs and exceed performance metrics by resolving requests, supporting daily operations, and ensuring system stability in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Review and monitor systems for availability, error conditions, adequate space allocation, backup integrity, and performance to ensure system stability.
  • Collaborate with teammates and software vendors on project efforts to achieve implementation plans and timelines.
  • Maintain current on knowledge of IT policies and procedures, hardware, software, and technical services.
  • Effectively communicate any new knowledge to teammates.
  • Contribute to research and evaluation of new enterprise technologies, processes, and upgrades to the Windows infrastructure.
  • Identify inefficiencies or gaps in written procedures and/or processes, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Develop new and/or modified procedure documentation, as requested.
Requirements
  • One (1) to five (5) years of experience in infrastructure technologies, cloud technologies, server/storage support, and IT customer support.
  • Possesses solid knowledge of server hardware and Microsoft server operating systems, along with Windows deployment tools.
  • Possesses a thorough knowledge of Cloud technologies.
  • Possesses analytical skills necessary to develop written procedures and/or processes.
  • Possesses a thorough understanding of server/storage technology.
  • Demonstrated understanding of data privacy and information security regulations.
  • Able to prioritize multiple assignments and complete work within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
