Job Title: Mechanical InspectorJob Summary

Verify is seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspector to join our team. As a Mechanical Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies at various supplier facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections to engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and specifications.
  • Report inspection results directly to the customer via web application.
  • Travel to supplier facilities to conduct inspections.
Requirements
  • Practical experience performing in-process and final inspections on complex mechanical and machined parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Experience using mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Knowledge of AS9102 Rev. B standard and experience performing First Article Inspections (FAIs).
  • Minimum of five years experience performing inspections in aerospace or military/defense manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Computer savvy and own a laptop for this assignment.
  • Independent contractor with LLC/DBA or ability to obtain.
