Position Overview:As a Resident Care Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering individualized care and support to residents, enhancing their quality of life while adhering to the mission of Oaks Senior Living.
Your role will involve assisting residents with their daily activities in a compassionate and dignified manner.
Qualifications:Experience in senior caregiving is preferred. Proficiency in the English language is required. A genuine passion for working with the elderly is essential. A friendly and nurturing demeanor is necessary. Candidates must be at least 18 years old. A clear background check is mandatory. Successful completion of a physical examination by a licensed medical professional is required. A negative result on drug screening is essential.Main Responsibilities:
- Promptly respond to residents' calls and needs.
- Facilitate residents' participation in activities and events.
- Assist residents during meal times, ensuring their individual preferences are respected.
- Monitor and communicate any changes in residents' appetite and capabilities.
- Help maintain cleanliness in the dining area and residents' living spaces.
- Support residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming.
