Nursing Unit Manager Position

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure adequate nursing coverage and provide safe patient care
* Participate in developing and implementing strategies to achieve patient goals and minimize rehospitalizations
* Mentor and educate nurses, working with physicians and other medical professionals to ensure high-quality care
* Oversee medication management and ensure compliance with Genesis policy
* Provide direct patient care to maintain skills and stay current with industry developments

**Requirements:**
* Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
* Associate Degree in Nursing, three years of nursing experience, or equivalent
* At least one year of nurse leadership experience required
* Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center state
* Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification
